Day 2 of the school holidays saw my son and I exploring historic Parramatta. We visited the former government house, now part of the large Parramatta Park through which the Parramatta River flows. There is a lot to see in the park, so it is not surprising that over 2 million people visit each year!
The highlight for my son was of course the River Foreshore Playground, with its facilities aimed at the adventurous, including sandpits, climbing walls, climbing nets and giant slides.
