I have visited the Glowworm Tunnel a number of times, but this was the first visit with my five year old son. Keen to have some fun and adventures together, we packed a lot into our visit - exploring the railway tunnel of the former Wolgan Valley Railway, venturing into the Bells Grotto Canyon, including the underground sections and finally a scramble up the numerous pagoda outcrops near the entrance to the Wollemi National Park.

It was a fun day out, with the only downside being the poor condition of the road on Newnes Plateau. This really tested my 4WD's suspension, and I would hate to have to try this in anything with less clearance and a softer setup!
