The Peak is a prominent rock outcrop located close to the former silver mining town of Yerranderie that I visited on a long weekend camping trip. The track to the summit is short, but what it lacks in length it makes up for in difficulty. This track has been one of the most challenging to date - no clear markings, rock climbing and a challenging terrain to traverse. To top it off, when I reached the summit of The Peak, clouds obscured the view!

That aside, I enjoyed the early morning climb to The Peak and I did get to see some views from Bartlett Head during the occasional cloud break.
