My son and I visited Budderoo National Park after an exciting morning exploring the aircraft at HARS in Albion Park. We did both the Rainforest Loop Walk and the Falls Walk.
The walk through the subtropical rainforest and up to Minnamurra Falls follows Minnamurra River along a series of boardwalk, paved paths and across a few bridges including two suspension bridges. The path through the rainforest is relatively easy, with just a small section to climb on the return leg. The side-track to the Minnamurra Falls is a lot steeper, but nothing my six year old son could not handle. We both enjoyed the walk through the cool, shady rainforest, and the upper falls were spectacular to see.
