The Bay to Bay Cycle and walkway was my first opportunity to try out my new mountain bike. This mostly level and off-road cycleway connects Rhodes in western Sydney with Tempe in the east and is an enjoyable ride along the Cooks River. I did the section from Strathfield to Tempe and back, with a few extra kilometres to and from my home.

It was a pleasant (if tiring) few hours ride, and I will definitely be taking my son along for a return ride when he a little older.
