Bidgee Riverside Trail is an initiative by the Hay Shire Council to provide a safe walking / bike trail around Bushy Bend to Sandy Point. I had a very pleasant afternoon stroll along the trail, exploring the banks of the Murrumbidgee River and marvelling at how large some of the river red gums were, particularly those at Sandy Point. There were also a number of interesting sculptures at Bushy Bend, part of the Long Paddock sculptures, highlighting the history of this location.
