Swifts Creek Campground is located at the most narrow part of Murray River (The Narrows) in Murray Valley National Park. The campground is surrounded by river red gum forest and the walk south follows the Murray River to Moira Lake.

I visited Murray Valley National Park during the height of the covid pandemic, and with lockdowns in Victoria, the national park was almost deserted. The walk to Moira Lake was nothing special, but it was nice to be able to stretch my legs and enjoy the solitude of this location.
