The Cut Line is a mostly unsealed road from Bourke in central NSW to Tibooburra in the far west. Road conditions can range from easy to challenging depending on when the road was last graded and the weather. The road was easy to drive when my friends and I travelled.

This is a remote and arid region, with only one tiny settlement - Wanaaring, located on the Paroo river between the two towns. While the road can be travelled in a day, it is nice to be able to take your time and explore the area, especially around the Darling River in the east and Sturt National Park in the west.
