Jacks Creek Nature Trail winds its way through a sheltered gorge with a normally dry creek bed, before heading up to loop around via the ridge tops. This gives you an opportunity to explore both aspects of this part of Cocoparra National Park. The walk is relatively short and the abundance of wildflowers when I visited in spring made the gorge and ridge tops come alive with colour.

There are picnic tables, barbecue and a toilet at the start / end of the walk if you would like to make a day of it with a picnic and the nearby Woolshed Flat offers camping.
