★★★☆☆
Henbury Meteorites Conservation Reserve contains twelve craters which were formed when a meteor hit the earth’s surface estimated to be about 4,700 years ago. This trek follows the self-guided walking track around the craters. The largest of the craters is 180 m wide and 15 m deep. An interesting note is that some Apollo astronauts visited these craters as part of their moon landing training. A fascinating place to visit if like me you have an interest in space exploration.
