My son loves his new bike that I bought for him for Christmas, so much so that he could not wait to try it out! We have been riding each evening in our neighbourhood, and decided on a longer ride for the weekend. On this Saturday we rode to Maluga Passive Park in Birrong.

Maluga Passive Park was redeveloped a number of years ago and features native bushland which is so rare to find in suburban Sydney. There are also some large grassed areas and a playground for children, barbecue facilities, picnic tables and an outdoor gym.

It was nice to be able to go on a longer ride with my son and I look forward to exploring new places with him on our bikes.
