Tia Falls is located in the Oxley Wild Rivers National Park, south west of Walcha. The spectacular falls plunge some 150 m into the Tia Gorge below.

The short walk to view the falls and the gorge is easily accessed from the picnic area and campground, which has picnic tables, gas barbecues and toilets. You also have the option of a longer walk to Tiara Lookout on the western rim of the plateau which my dad and I had to forego because of the rain.
