Eagles Nest is a stunningly beautiful walk in the New England National Park that takes you along the cliff edge, below Point Lookout. The track winds its way though World Heritage Gondwana rainforest with huge mossy Antarctic beech trees covered in fungus and dotted with beech orchids.

Mist prevented me seeing into the valley below, but did provide that Lost World feeling. I very much enjoyed this walk, although the going was difficult in some places due to the wet conditions. There are facilities at Point Lookout picnic area, including tables and toilets.
