★★★★☆

Sawn Rocks is a towering wall of pentagonal basalt pipes, formed during the cooling of molten rock during Mount Kaputar's volcanic past. The spectacular basalt 'organ pipes' are easy to reach by a mostly level walk at the norther end of Mount Kaputar National Park. There is a picnic area with tables, barbecues and toilets at the start of the walk.
