Burbie Canyon is a short walk through a narrow sandstone gorge. The walk can either be done as a return hike from Burbie Canyon carpark, or a longer loop walk via Split Rock carpark. The walk is pleasant, but not as interesting as some of the other trails in Warrumbungle National Park.

The closest facilities are in the nearby Camp Wambelong, approximately 0.7 km to the east.
