The Wambelong Nature Walk is one of the shorter walks in Warrumbungle National Park. Beginning at the Canyon picnic area, the walk follows Wambelong Creek through a small gorge before climbing onto a rock outcrop with impressive views of the nearby Belougery Split Rock.

There are a number of informative signs along the way, a shady picnic area near the creek and the opportunity to spot wildlife along the way. Canyon picnic area is a short distance from the popular Camp Blackman camping area, with an access track from the campground linking the two locations.
