★★★☆☆
Abrahams Bosom was the name given to this headland by early steamship captains, since it afforded them shelter in rough seas. The headland features a number of secluded beaches, dramatic sea cliffs, including one with a natural tunnel, and the site of the wreck of the SS Merimbula.
I explored the reserve for the first time at the start of my long weekend holiday in the Shoalhaven. it was a nice morning walk, with the highlight being the dramatic exit from Gosangs Tunnel to the rock shelf high above the blue waters of the Tasman Sea.
