Pigeon House Mountain (also known as Didthul by the local Aboriginal people) is a dominant feature of the Shoalhaven skyline. I have visited the mountain many times, with this being my fourth ascent to the summit. It never seems to get easier, and remains as a challenging track, with over 400 m change in elevation.

The views from the summit are stunning and certainly make the climb worth while. Recent upgrades to the track at the base, as well as new ladders have helped to make the climb more accessible, and the track is a very popular one.
