This short 4WD firetrail follows the eastern ridge overlooking Yalwal Creek, linking Yalwal Road in the south with Burrier Road in the north. There are a number of short steep sections, and parts of the trail can be rutted and sandy. The side trip on Saals Trail to McKenzies Lookout is worth the time and effort, providing some spectacular views from the sandstone cliffs, high above Yalwal Creek.
