Isla Gorge is a dramatic sandstone gorge in central Queensland. The short track to the lookout provides some stunning views of the sandstone cliffs and the rugged valley floor. There are pockets of dry rainforest in the valleys below, while the escarpment features a drier vegetation. My friends and I spent a pleasant evening here, camping on the sandstone ridge.
