Whitsunday Island is world famous for Whitehaven Beach, a picture perfect beach of pure-white, silica sand and clear waters. My friends and I visited the island on a day tour from Airlie Beach, located 25 km on the mainland. Our tour included a walk to Whitehaven Beach, with time for an optional swim, a climb to view the stunning scenery from Hill Inlet Lookout, snorkelling at the spectacular coral reef of Stone Haven Bay and finally, fish feeding at Mantaray Bay.

This day long tour was a great way to see the amazing Whitsunday Islands, with time to enjoy the beautiful locations. A wonderful day out.
