The 32 km Bloomfield Track is one of the most scenic short 4WD drives in Queensland, providing coastal access from Cape Tribulation in the Daintree Rainforest to Wajul Wajul in the north. I did this track as a shortcut from the Daintree to Cooktown. Track conditions can vary greatly, but at the time of my visit, while the track was damp, it proved to be quite an easy drive. There was one creek crossing and two steep sections requiring low range.

The track passes through some stunning rainforest, and the Wujal Wujal Falls at the end of the track were spectacular, even with the lower water volumes of the dry season.
