Lawn Hill Gorge is a truly amazing place to visit - an oasis in the desert, with a beautiful palm tree lined river flowing through the deep red gorge. There are a number of spectacular walks in Boodjamulla National Park.

One of the nicest is the walk to Indarri Falls. This short walk follows Lawn Hill Creek to the small rock outcrop between Upper and Middle gorges. There are two lookouts on top of the plateau - Dawadarri Lookout pears into the narrow middle gorge, while Indarri Lookout provides a bird's eye view of Indarri Falls.

You can continue the walk to the Upper Gorge and/or have a swim at Indarri Falls before returning to the campground from where the walk begins.

My friend and I very much enjoyed our afternoon walk to Indarri Falls.
