Golden Gully
Hill End, NSW

★★★☆☆
The Golden Gully track takes you a dry creek bed where erosion and mining has created a deep gully. Visible on the sides of the gully is evidence of the underground warren of mines that once dotted the creek line, as well as where water used for sluicing has created interesting pillars. The main feature is The Arch, a span of rock and earth across the gully which has formed a 'bridge'.
Golden Gully is located approximately 1.5 km from the historic gold mining town of Hill End. Hill End has two campgrounds, picnic area and a variety of historic buildings, former gold mines and associated mining relics to explore.
