The Southern Highlands is a fascinating place to explore. Located approximately 100 km south of Sydney, it is possible to explore the area on a day trip, but it is even better done as a weekend trip like my visit in 2021. Sixty Foot Falls was one of the places I visited during my weekend. This dramatic waterfall was quite challenging to reach, requiring some off track navigation and rock scrambling. There were quite a number of interesting places along this 10 km circuit, but without a GPS at the time of my visit, navigation was difficult and I ended up getting lost twice!

I particularly enjoyed the historic Green Tram Track and the Nattai River and would love to return to visit the nearby Forty Foot Falls and Box Vale Canyon.
