I have visited Mungo National Park twice before, but this was the first time that I have done the Grasslands Nature Trail. Beginning at the Main Camp campground, the short walk features a number of informative sings along the way, describing the grasslands, shrubs of bluebush and copper bush, woodlands of Belah, cypress pine and mallee scrub of this World Heritage region.

Keep and eye out for wildlife along the way. I saw many kangaroos on the walk, resting in the shade of the trees.
