Kings Billabong Wildlife Reserve protects a large wetland, just south of Mildura. There are a number of walks in the reserve, and I combined two of these walks, the Bird Hide Loop Walk and part of the Ducksfoot Lagoon Walk, on this visit. As it was summertime at the time of my visit, there were only a few birds visible, but the walk was interesting in itself, even if it was very hot!

Kings Billabong Carpark is also a picnic area, with tables and toilets and there are campgrounds nearby for those looking to stay longer.
