Tyakil Nature Walk is a self-guided short loop that takes you into the heart of the semi-arid Wyperfeld National Park. Located at the end of Black Flat Track, approximately 4 km west of the Wonga Campground, the sandy track heads through Black Flat, before circling around to Round Lake and through the cypress forest and old farm paddocks. There are a number of signs along the way, with information on the flora, fauna and history of the area.

The nearest facilities are located at the Wonga Campground (4 km the east). I very much enjoyed this walk, with its rugged beauty and informative signs.
