Hopetoun Falls is on of a number of spectacular waterfalls located in the Otway Ranges. The short walk takes you downhill through a verdant forest of fern trees and ferns to a viewing platform near the base of the falls. The well formed track, stairs and boardwalk is not too difficult and the views of the falls are certainly worth the effort.

A planting of giant Californian Redwoods is located 1.5 km downstream off Binns Road and is worth a visit, as are the nearby Beauchamp Falls (8 km to the north east).
