A weekend away on the south coast of New South Wales is always a pleasure, especially when I head to my childhood holiday destination of Bendalong. On this weekend, I spent a pleasant two days in this area exploring some new locations, the first being Conjola Beach and Narrawallee Creek Nature Reserve.

The trek to Buckleys Point via the Burrawang Track / Conjola Beach was easy, with some nice views of the sea and Green Island near Lake Conjola. Rather than returning the same way, I continued on through Narrawallee Creek Nature Reserve and back through the town of Lake Conjola. Overall, the track was OK, but nothing special and one that I probably would not do again.
