Mystery Bay in Eurobodalla National Park marks the site of an enduring mystery - the disappearance disappearance of five men in 1880. The geologist Lamont Young, his assistant and friend, Louis Schneider, and three boatman were never found after the boat that the men had been using to reach the Montreal goldfield was found holed and abandoned.

The picnic area has toilets, picnic tables and a lookout, and is a short walk from a number of beaches.
