★★★☆☆

For my sixteenth time out on my kayak, I decided to visit the river closest to where I live - the Parramatta River. The quality of the water has improved significantly over the years as efforts have been made to clean up the waterway and prevent runoff from industrial sites. There are now a number of housing developments that border the river, making use of their fantastic setting on the banks of the river.

One fascintating area that I visited was the shipwrecks of Homebush Bay. These ships were brought to the area to be broken up and recycled, but have remained and have now turned into minature islands complete with trees growing out of their rusting hulls. It was a great morning out on the water.
