★★★☆☆

The Sydney Living Museums were offering free entry on weekends to three of their museums, so my son and I took the opportunity to visit them. The first museum we visited was the Museum of Sydney. This museum was built in 1995 on the site of the first government house in order to preserve its remains and to tell the story of Sydney and its people. The museum features a number of ever changing displays. My son's favourite was How to move a zoo - the story of how the zoo was relocated from Moore Park to Taronga in 1916. I also found the models of the First Fleet and government house to be fascinating.

Though the museum was small, my son enjoyed this very much.
