★★★☆☆

The Sydney Living Museums were offering free entry on weekends to three of their museums, so my son and I took the opportunity to visit them. The second museum we visited was the Justice and Police Museum, located in the former Water Police Court (1856), Water Police Station and Police Court (1886) at Circular Quay. The museum featured a number of displays from the colony's and Sydney's murky past and the efforts of the police to bring law and order. The displays were very interesting, my favourites being the bushrangers exhibit and how forensics were used to solve a number of cases.

While the museum is bit grim for youngsters, there were a number of activities for children, which having completed, entitled my son to became a police cadet.
