The Deep Creek Circuit takes in the best of the Deep Creek National Park, from the steep cliffs and dramatic coastal scenery near Deep Creek Cove, to the inland forest and waterfall on the return track. It was the photos of the coastline near Tapanappa Lookout that inspired me to do this hike, and I am very glad that my friend and I had the opportunity to see the magnificent views for ourselves.

This is not an easy walk. The rock climbing out of Deep Creek Cove was challenging, and the limited daylight meant that we had to push ourselves to complete the hike in half the recommended time! We were very grateful that we had already set up our campsite at Trig Campground prior to our walk, as it was dusk when we arrived back after completing the circuit.
