Harvey's Bay once served as a supply landing site for the Cape Borda Lighthouse. The short hike follows the lightkeepers’ old cart track to the cove where lightkeepers once hauled up stores using a horse-drawn winch and small rail cars. The track is steep in sections, descending to a little bay with sandy beach and interesting Zebra Schist rocks.

Harvey's Bay Campground at the start of the track has a number of sites, picnic tables and a toilet.
