The Kangaroo Island Sculpture Trail is located a short walk from the ferry terminal in Penneshaw on Kangaroo Island's northern coast. The 1.5 kms of trails wind through the dunes and feature lookouts, steps, boardwalks, a swing bridge, seating and scenic views. There were 17 sculptures along the trail when I visited, with more being added each year. The sculptures are designed to interpret the natural surroundings, and are composed of natural materials, found or reclaimed objects or materials sympathetic to the site.

It was an interesting stroll along both sides of the gully while my friends and I were waiting for our ferry back to the mainland.
