The historic Davidson Whaling Station is located at Kiah Inlet on the shores of Twofold Bay, close to Ben Boyd National Park. The weatherboard homestead was home to the Davidson family and dates back to the 1890s. Lower down on the shores of the bay are the remains of the whaling station, including the try pot which was used to process whale blubber. The family's whaling operations were assisted by a pack of killer whales. The skeleton of the pack’s leader, Old Tom, is displayed at the Eden Killer Whale Museum.

This was an interesting place to visit, together with the nearby Boyd's Tower.
