Telowie Gorge

Telowie Gorge Conservation Park, SA
2.8 km (1 hr )
★★★☆☆
Telowie Gorge Conservation Park is part of Wapma Thura - Southern Flinders Ranges National Park. The gorge and its diverse landforms have been created by Telowie Creek, which over time has cut a deep gorge through the range.
The Nukuna Walking Trail is a short walk following the mostly dry Telowie Creek through the bottom of the gorge. You can continue further into the gorge by following the creek bed at the end of the marked trail. You may be lucky to see one of the rare Yellow-footed Rock Wallabies (which my friend and I spotted) as well as the "face" formed by the rocks on the side of the gorge.
