The vast coastal wilderness of Coffin Bay National Park, with its rugged limestone cliffs, large coastal sand dunes, pristine sandy beaches and sheltered tranquil waters of Coffin Bay is a delight to visit. Located on the south western tip of the Eyre Peninsula, the park is readily accessible from the nearby Port Lincoln (approximately 65 km to the east).

While the northern section of the national park can only be visited by a high-clearance 4WD, the southern section with its spectacular beaches and lookouts can be readily reached by 2WD vehicles, and is the section that my friends and I explored on our visit to the national park.
