★★☆☆☆

Policeman's Point features a natural water source in the Gawler Ranges National Park. The spring at Police Well became a point of conflict and tension between Aboriginal people and European settlers in the late 1800s, leading to the establishment of a police presence in the area in 1867.

The walk begins at the Old Paney Homestead and heads east on a well formed track, following a dry creek bed through spinifex covered hills to a rocky area where the spring is located. There are information signs along the way as well as a shelter just before the viewing point. The nearest facilities are at the Old Paney Homestead.
