★★★☆☆
Named after the Aboriginal people of the area, Croajingolong National Park follows the south eastern coastline of Victoria for some 100 kilometres and features eucalypt forest, rainforest and heathland. My original plan was to follow the 4WD tracks from Mallacoota in the east to Point Hicks in the south. Due to track closures, I was only able to do part of my itinerary, visiting Shipwreck Creek before having to head back to the Princes Highway and on to Lake Tyers State Park for the night.
The sandy 4WD Centre Track and Betka Track were easy to drive and the walk to view the rock formations at Shipwreck Creek was a highlight of this trip.
