With the promise of a sunny day after another week of rain, my son and I decided to explore a new area of Sydney Harbour on a walk from Double Bay to The Royal Botanic Gardens. The walk we did closely followed a small section of the 80 km Bondi to Manly Walk.

The walk was easy to do, especially since we stopped at almost every park along the way for my son to play or rest. We were quite surprised at the end of the walk to be greeted by large crowds heading to see the finals of the Cliff Diving World Series being held at Mrs Macquarie's Point, but thankfully we were able to still find a place to eat at the Royal Botanic Gardens.

It was a very nice day out and so nice to see a sunny blue sky again!
