Washpool Walk
Grade 4
Washpool NP, NSW
10.7 km (2.5 hrs )
★★★★☆
The iconic Washpool Walk in Washpool National Park offers the best of the World Heritage listed Gondwana Rainforest. The track follows Coombadjha Creek through the beautiful rainforest, before heading uphill to a grove of rare red cedars. Circling back, the track visits two waterfalls before returning to the picnic area and campground.
My walk combined the Washpool Walk with the Coombadjha nature stroll, for a total of 11 km. The track was well signposted and easy to follow, making for an enjoyable hike. There are picnic facilities and toilets at both the Coachwood Picnic Area and Bellbird campground where my dad and I camped overnight.
