Elvina Bay, NSW
5.2 km (2.5 hrs )
My son and I visited Elvina Bay on the October long weekend. This walk explores the remote community, nestled on the shores of Pittwater. As there are no roads into the area, the place retains a feeling of peace and quiet, at least on the day we were there!
There are two options to access this walk. Head into the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park on West Head Road and park at the Elvina Trailhead. You can then head down along the Elvina Trail and return via Fredericks Track. Alternatively, catch the ferry to Elvina Bay Wharf and commence the walk from there. Either way, this walk makes for a delightful day out, exploring this secluded and seldom visited area.
