Dangars Falls are located 23 km south of Armidale. The falls are quite impressive, plunging over 180m into a steep and narrow gorge. There are a number of walks to explore from the picnic area of which my dad and I did a few. The most impressive views of the falls are from the Falls Lookout, although the views from The Falls Lookdown are equally as good.

Dangars Falls Picnic Area has picnic tables, some of which are covered as well as toilets. Note that the last few kilometres of the access road were dirt at the time of my visit.
