Nooroo was built and planted in 1880 by William Hay and the large garden features a wonderful collection of flowers and majestic trees, many of which are deciduous and change to a stunning yellow, orange and red in autumn. I spent a delightful hour wandering around the gardens, and being one of the early visitors, had most of the gardens to myself.

Nooroo is located near the St George's Anglican Church in Mount Wilson and has entrances on both The Avenue and Church Lane.
