The Kiama Coast Walk is a spectacular walk that stretches 20 km from Minnamurra in the north to Gerringong in the south. I did the first section of the walk from Minnamurra to Kiama. While the official walk lists this as 8.4 km, with my many detours, I ended up covering 13 km in total!

It was a beautiful day and the scenery on this section of the walk was spectacular. I especially enjoyed the columnar basalt formations, both at Cathedral Rocks and the Bombo Headland Quarry. Kiama is always a nice destination to visit, and I spend a pleasant hour strolling to the famous blowhole and lighthouse. It was a wonderful day out.
