Caves Road is a scenic drive through the heart of the Margaret River region from Cape Leeuwin in the south to Cape Naturaliste in the north. The road passes by the famous Margaret River Caves, two of which I had visited on prior occasions, as well as the tall forests of the south east, stunning beaches along the coastline and two historic lighthouses at each cape. The Margaret River wineries are a short detour from Caves Road in the west.

My dad especially liked Canal Rocks with its turquoise waters contrasting with the jagged red rocks and I enjoyed revisiting the Cape Naturaliste lighthouse, given my love of lighthouses.
