This short walk from the Lake St Clair Visitor's Centre gives a taste of what the famous Overland Track has to offer. The track heads north along the shores of Lake St Clair to Fergy's Paddock, before heading inland to Waters Meet, the junction of the Hugel and Cuvier Rivers. Platypus Bay is a short loop track that provides an opportunity to try to spot the shy and elusive mammal (a hide along the shores of Lake St Clair increases your chances, although I was not fortunate to see them on my walk).
